Acacia honey is particularly valuable, among the most sought after in the world of honey. Thanks to its characteristics and versatility it is one of the best known honeys both among the most assiduous consumers and among beginners. Its delicate flavor goes well with a wide variety of foods and makes it suitable for the most varied uses. Acacia pollen is generally above 15%.

  • Flavor The flavor of Acacia honey is unmistakable: as soon as you uncork the jar, a scent of sugared almonds completely envelops you. A real caress for the palate.
  • Origin The nectariferous source of Acacia honey is Robinia Pseudo Acacia, a spontaneous arboreal plant widespread in all temperate climate zones of Europe. Being a spontaneous plant, its diffusion occurs between uncultivated land and undeveloped areas, hence the importance of protecting these areas.
  • Harvesting season The harvest of acacia honey coincides with the first days of spring. The acacia flowers flood everything with their heady scent. The start of spring is always characterized by particular climatic situations, which is why night frosts and heavy rainfall affect the flowering and harvest of this particular honey.
  • Type of processing Acacia honey is recovered from the apiaries shortly before flowering ends. This is to prevent bees from mixing different blooms together, in order to obtain pure acacia honey.
