Manual Harvest : The harvest of the Trebbiano Spoletino DOC Perticaia grapes takes place manually, in the cool hours of the morning and through multiple passages during the season. This method allows us to capture all the aromatic nuances of the vine, guaranteeing a high quality product.

Delicate Vinification and Precise Control After harvesting, the grapes are subjected to soft pressing in a controlled environment. A cold static clarification follows and the fermentation of the clear must takes place in steel tanks at the optimal temperature of 13-14°C. This process allows the organoleptic characteristics of the vine to be best preserved.

Aging to Develop Aromatic Complexity Trebbiano Spoletino DOC Perticaia is aged for at least 3/4 months on its fine lees. This rest period allows the wine to develop a unique aromatic complexity, enriching its personality and offering a complete sensorial experience.

Characteristics : Color: Lemon Aroma: Opens with notes of green fruits such as pear and tropical fruits such as banana. With aging in the bottle, interesting hints of hydrocarbons develop. Taste: Full and fresh, with a pleasant flavor. The medium acidity is balanced by a subtle aftertaste of sweetness, creating a harmonious balance.

Pairings : Trebbiano Spoletino DOC Perticaia is an excellent companion for a refined aperitif. It goes well with fish and seafood dishes, as well as white meats and cheeses. Its versatility makes it perfect for enriching every convivial moment.

Perticaia winery

A territory, a vine, a wine. It is natural that right here, in the center of green Umbria, among hills cultivated with vineyards and olive trees, dotted with towers, villages and medieval castles, it was decided to give life to Perticaia. After the purchase of the land, substantial work begins on the planting of new vineyards and the construction of a modern cellar, in perfect balance with the surrounding environment and taking care to maintain the appearance of the old farms in the area. Respectful of the teachings of the past, the company today boasts around fifty hectares of vineyards. Of these, more than ten hectares are planted in Sagrantino, as well as one and a half hectares of olive groves: "Vigna delle Querce" is bordered by centuries-old plants preserved after the transformation of the land, once used as arable land; “Vigna Attone” runs alongside the stream of the same name and “Vigna Montioni” takes its name from the family of the old owners. The land, all hilly, is located on a slight slope, at an altitude between 320 and 350 m above sea level, mainly exposed to the south, south-west. As per tradition for the Perticaia winery, after the harvest, which takes place manually in the cellar, each production step is aimed at enhancing what the season and the territory have been able to express in the fruit. Today Perticaia is a model organic company for the territory. A cellar capable of producing wines of great expressiveness and elegance, to be discovered one by one to come into contact with Umbria, and with those which are the most representative vines of the entire region. and the Montefalco area in particular.
